  • Day 1 - WALKING

Starting with the groundwork, riders will create a relationship of trust with their ranch horse. Once saddled, riders will learn the basics of position, balance, steering, stopping, leg cues, and verbal commands at a walk. That first day is all about creating harmony and confidence.

  • Day 2 - TROTTING

We will introduce the jog and posting trot. This will be faster than the walk and require more balance and control, but also be fun and exciting. By the end of the second day, you will feel accomplished and amazed at how far you've come in two days.

  • Day 3 - LOPING

Riders will learn to lope, which is a slow and smooth slow run. Many people describe this day as freeing with moments of feeling completely connected to their horse.
